      Finding new things out and making a positive impact. And like Mark says – my science gets to help people through making new drugs so that’s a bonus.

      I like to solve challenges and difficulties that the general population faces through my knowledge of science. I like to conduct research and train and motivate students in science.

      I like the versatility of my tasks. I am still learning new things. I like to discuss results and see other people perspectives on a project. I like that the work I do has real life applications.

      I find sciences very interesting. I love that I am still learning new things every day, even in my field. I also get a lot of satisfaction from my job as I contribute to the development of new medicines which can make a big difference to people’s lives.

      Finding new things out, finding ways to apply techniques to new problems, working with great people (you can’t know everything so you have to work with people who know things you don’t).
